Celebrating the Year of the Fire Horse

To mark the arrival of the Year of the Fire Horse, our team sat down for a shared vegetarian meal. Just food, warmth, and the kind of easy conversation that only comes when people genuinely enjoy each other's company.

🔥 火马年 · The Year of the Fire Horse

The Fire Horse appears once every 60 years in the Chinese zodiac — a rare convergence of the Horse's spirit and the element of Fire. It is said to bring intensity, creativity, and bold momentum. The Horse represents freedom and forward movement; Fire adds courage, warmth, and transformation. Together, they call for passion tempered by wisdom.

More Than a Meal

This is part of our tradition: coming together for a New Year meal, sharing food, laughter, and time with each other.
As a mental health team, we spend much of our work holding space for others, so it felt especially meaningful to also pause and connect as a team. A simple celebration, but a really happy and grounding moment for all of us.

团圆—The Spirit of Reunion

In Chinese culture, 团圆 (tuán yuán) — reunion, togetherness — is at the heart of New Year celebrations. It is not just about being in the same room. It is about recognising that we belong to something together.

For a practice that holds connection as central to its work, this felt right. Bonding as a team is not separate from the care we offer our clients — it is part of it. When a team feels genuinely connected, that steadiness flows into every session, every interaction, every small moment of support.

To a year of courage, warmth, and forward movement.

We are grateful for a team that shows up — for clients, for each other, and for moments like these. May the energy of the Fire Horse carry us well through the year ahead.

新年快樂 · 馬到成功
