Availability: Monday to Saturday in South Yarra office
Joey works as a provisional psychologist registered with AHPRA under supervision of two clinical supervisors:
Primary supervisor Michael Gate, Clinical Psychologist, Advanced Schema Therapist & Board Approved Supervisor
Secondary supervisor Chen Xu, Clinical Psychologist & Board Approved Supervisor

Before entering the field of psychology, Joey worked in university and gained valuable experience supporting international students as they navigated the complexities of adapting to a new culture, academic demands, and social relationships.
She brings a compassionate, culturally sensitive approach to her work, grounded in evidence-based practices. Joey is committed to creating a safe, inclusive space where young people can explore their emotions, strengthen their self-understanding, and build lasting resilience.
